Intro to Zbrush Demo

This is part 1 of a 4 part series introduction to Zbrush that was delivered by DePaul animation professor Josh Jones to the Animation club. Zbrush is an organic 3D modeling tool that allows you to model intuitively using a brush, and works especially well with our Cintiq tablet/monitors in the Animation Lab. It was used to model Davy Jones’ head for Pirates of the Carribbean. This demonstration is designed to get you up and running as fast as possible. The primary focus of the demonstration is modifying, detailing, and texturing models imported from other 3D programs. The demo is in Zbrush 3.0 but addresses interface and techniques in 3.1 as well.

Now you can watch part 2 here.

Parts 3-4 are coming soon.
